A Record-Breaking Team Effort

This past weekend, 28 riders representing Sproule ERCE took part in the Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer, joining thousands of cyclists across the province in support of the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

Together, our team raised the incredible amount of more than CA$140,000, placing Sproule ERCE among the top 25 highest-fundraising teams in this year’s event. Behind that number is months of training, fundraising, and support from a lot of people involved, all riding toward the same goal.

Riding Together, Kilometer by Kilometer

Riders chose from routes of 70 KM, 100 KM, and an extended 160 KM challenge, each one demanding its own kind of commitment. Whatever the distance, every rider on the Sproule ERCE team trained for months and showed up with the same purpose: to give more hope to people affected by cancer.

This year’s team was led by team captain Jim Chisholm, alongside Filip Gigic, Antonio Calderon, Darnell Franco, Steven Golko, Michael Turcot, Richard Holst, Bryan Bacon, Hunter Brett, Jeffrey Mckeeman, Chris Mylde, Jay Kleinsasser, Ryan Holmes, Adam Boyes, Colleen Ng, Nicole Ronsky, Rich Wade, Luan Pham, Daryl Ronsky, Sayje Wade, Alexa Miliken-Smith, Lucas Kim, Elizabeth Campbell, Sheldon McDonough, Pawel Pisarski, Garreth Mawdsley, Fatima Mehoob and Justin Givens.

We’re incredibly proud of our team, and grateful to everyone who donated, supported, encouraged, and cheered from the sidelines. You made this year’s ride possible. Explore our team’s page and discover their causes behind their participation in the Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer.
