Jim brings significant experience in the energy industry, with a strong track record of leading global strategic growth initiatives. As President & CEO of Sproule ERCE, he has been a key driver of the integration of the two companies into one. His leadership style blends strategic vision with operational expertise, critical to driving Sproule ERCE’s continued growth.

Rich brings over 25 years of technical and executive leadership across the oil and gas sector. Formerly Managing Director of Asset Management, he played a key role in expanding Sproule’s operated and non-operated asset services. He has led multidisciplinary teams in field operations, asset optimization, and regulatory compliance. Known for his strategic vision and hands-on expertise, Rich has experience helping clients unlock value through efficient operations and smart acquisitions.

Paul draws on more than 20 years of global experience across the energy, climate, and sustainability sectors. Formerly the General Manager of ERC Evolution, Paul played a pivotal role in the firm’s integration into Sproule. A Professional Engineer and Certified GHG Verifier, he leads high-impact advisory and regulatory projects across CCS, lithium, and oil & gas. Paul is known for his deep expertise in emissions verification, climate risk analysis, and independent reporting for global stock exchanges. Paul holds a BSc and MSc in Chemical Engineering from the Universities of Calgary and Alberta respectively, and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.

Chris plays a key role in shaping Sproule ERCE’s global growth strategy and providing strategic and commercial guidance to clients across the energy value chain. Formerly Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, he led major M&A initiatives and spearheaded market expansion efforts. With deep expertise in corporate finance, fair market valuations, and global energy markets, Chris is a recognized voice in the industry, frequently speaking on energy market trends and commercial strategy.

Danilo is Senior Vice President, Technical Studies and Country Manager for the Netherlands at Sproule ERCE, bringing over 30 years of international experience across integrated oil and gas companies and service firms. Throughout his career, he has held a wide range of technical and leadership roles spanning field engineering, reservoir management, and integrated subsurface studies. Danilo is a specialist in reserves and resources assessment (PRMS, SEC, AIM) and has a strong track record in volumetric estimations and leading complex technical evaluations. He actively supports clients in addressing technical and commercial challenges and serves as a member of both the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE) and the SPE Oil and Gas Reserves Committee (OGRC).

Doug is Vice President, Americas, Subsurface Advisory at Sproule ERCE, with over 30 years of reservoir engineering experience. His background spans E&P companies, investment banking, and over 17 years as a Qualified Reserves Evaluator and Auditor. Doug specializes in reserve and resource certifications, reservoir modelling, field development, and economic analysis. A registered Professional Engineer (APEGA), he holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary and has worked on projects across Western Canada and globally, including helium and mineral recovery.

Jonathan is Executive Vice President – Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific at Sproule ERCE and formerly served as CEO of ERCE. A geoscientist with over 20 years of experience, he has led exploration, development, and production operations at companies including Woodside Energy and Ophir Energy. He previously headed ERCE’s Expert Practice, advising on technical and commercial disputes. Jonathan has worked across Africa, SE Asia, Australia, and Central America, with deep expertise in PSCs, JOAs, and JV management across diverse regulatory environments.

Floris Veeger is Managing Director, Geothermal at Sproule ERCE. He founded Sproule ERCE’s geothermal arm, Veegeo, in 2012 and has dedicated his career to advancing geothermal development. Floris has played a key role in shaping the geothermal landscape in the Netherlands, advising on subsurface strategy for several pioneering projects in the Dutch greenhouse horticulture sector. Prior to founding Veegeo, he worked as an operations manager for a major mining services company in Australia. He holds a B.Sc. in Applied Earth Sciences and an M.Sc. in Resource Engineering from Delft University of Technology.

Garreth Mawdsley is Vice President, Systems & Information Technology at Sproule ERCE, with over 25 years of IT operations experience. He previously ran his own successful MSP, supporting SMEs across multiple provinces, and has led multimillion-dollar international projects across various industries. Garreth applies ITSM, OKR, and DMAIC methodologies to drive efficiency and value. He holds a Senior Management Development Programme qualification from Stellenbosch University, along with specialized industry certifications.

James is Vice President, EAA, Decarbonisation & Facilities at Sproule ERCE, formerly Director and Head of Costs & Facilities at ERCE. He brings over 16 years of experience and deep expertise in field development, cost engineering, and project estimation, leading integrated technical teams supporting concept screening and project evaluation. Since joining ERCE in 2017, James has expanded the Costs & Facilities capability, building a seamless link between subsurface, facilities, and commercial assessments. His background spans engineering consultancies and E&P companies, giving him a well-rounded understanding of client needs across project stages.

Mark has over 40 years of experience working in various capacities in the oil and gas industry in Calgary as well as internationally. As Senior Vice President, Corporate and Legal, and Corporate Secretary with Sproule ERCE, he advises the company with respect to all legal matters.

Mike is Vice President, EAA, Subsurface Advisory at Sproule ERCE and brings over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Since joining ERCE in 2013, he has worked as both a geoscientist and reservoir engineer on oil and gas audits, M&A due diligence, technical studies, and expert witness projects. Mike helped establish ERCE’s Asia Pacific office in Singapore, gaining extensive international experience across the region. He has led major audits for clients such as Jadestone Energy, Interra Resources, and TAG Oil, and has strong expertise in PRMS, COGEH, and stock market regulations (LSE AIM, TSX, ASX, SGX). Known for his integrated skillset, Mike is an effective project manager with deep experience in static and dynamic modelling of complex fields.

Richard is Vice President, Americas, Decarbonization & Facilities at Sproule ERCE. With over 12 years of experience in resource evaluation and development, he has worked in both Canada and the UK as a petroleum and geological storage engineer. He previously led Sproule’s Carbon Management practice and has expertise in CO₂ storage assessment, low-carbon strategy, and global CCUS benchmarking. Richard holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy Development and has contributed to industry research with the University of Calgary.

Rhydian brings over 25 years of technical and commercial experience to his role as Vice President, Business Development at Sproule ERCE, previously serving as Head of Sales and Marketing at ERCE. A geologist by training, he began his career as an oil and gas analyst at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte before moving into senior business development roles, including at Ikon Science. Rhydian combines technical insight with commercial acumen to help clients navigate complex challenges across the petroleum and low-carbon sectors.

Rouha is currently Senior Vice President, Low Carbon Solutions at Sproule ERCE. She brings over a decade of experience in the steel industry, with expertise in industrial decarbonisation, circular economy, project engineering and management, industrial construction, M&A due diligence, and manufacturing. Prior to joining Sproule ERCE, Rouha represented Tata Steel UK—operator of the country’s largest steelworks and second-largest GHG emitter—at the South Wales Industrial Cluster (SWIC) for decarbonisation.

Sheldon is Senior Vice President, Expert & Advisory at Sproule ERCE, having previously served as Managing Director prior to the merger. With over 22 years of experience in energy investment banking, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and business development, Sheldon has worked with a broad range of clients—including private companies, multinationals, and national oil companies—across Canada, the United States, and Asia.

Shila is Managing Director, Asset Management at Sproule ERCE, with over 23 years of diverse work experience with expertise in business development and upstream start-ups through both acquisition and optimization. She specializes in opportunity identification, reserves, economic evaluations, and operational work experience. Her past positions have included director and executive level positions and has always have taken a hands-on collaborative approach.

Steven is Senior Vice President of Sproule ERCE’s Reserves & Resources business. He has experience in reserves and resources, evaluations and audits, supply studies, supporting A&D opportunities, technical due diligence, and financial and annual reporting requirements. He is experienced in conventional oil and gas assets, unconventional resource plays, heavy oil production, various EOR schemes, helium and lithium brine extraction. He has experience in over 25 countries.

Amirah is Country Manager for Malaysia and Principal Reservoir Engineer at Sproule ERCE, bringing nearly 15 years of experience in the energy sector. With a strong technical foundation and recent transition into leadership, she combines engineering expertise with strategic oversight. At Sproule ERCE, Amirah has led independent assessments of hydrocarbon and storage resources across various global regions, delivering technical integrity and ensuring alignment with international regulatory standards. She holds a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta and an MSc from Imperial College London, where she was awarded a Chevening Scholarship.

Danilo is Country Manager for the Netherlands and Senior Vice President, Technical Studies at Sproule ERCE, bringing over 30 years of international experience across integrated oil and gas companies and service firms. Fidel is Country Manager for Mexico and Team Lead, Reservoir Engineering. He leads a team of engineering experts in delivering technical and commercial excellence to global clients. He has over 13 years of experience in production and reservoir engineering, reserves evaluation, and economic analysis. Fidel has worked for different organizations including private companies, a state-owned oil operator, an oil regulator, and a Ministry having a robust understanding of the industry.

Martin is Country Manager for Australia and Principal Geoscientist at Sproule ERCE. With over 23 years of experience, he specializes in reservoir geophysics, seismic interpretation, prospect generation, and data science/AI, contributing to major projects across Australia and the Asia-Pacific. Previously, Martin held leadership roles at Woodside Energy including Strategic Business Manager, Australian Exploration Manager, and Asia-Pacific New Ventures Manager, gaining extensive experience in permitting, PSCs, JOAs, and joint venture management throughout the region.
