Client Need:
A client wished to identify the optimal area for CO2 storage in a regional area in the Middle East, taking account of subsurface, topside infrastructure and proximity to emitters.
Description of services provided by Sproule ERCE staff:
Sproule ERCE was engaged to educate the client on global CCS developments, identify CO2 emitters and undertake a CO2 storage screening exercise at country level.
In terms of the literature review, ERC Evolution worked together with Ross Offshore to determine the optimal area for further study by reviewing available English literature documents on CCS in Israel.
