In anticipation of a farm-out process, Longboat commissioned Sproule ERCE to undertake a Competent Person’s Report (CPR) on the Kertang prospect in Block 2A, offshore Sarawak in Eastern Malaysia. Longboat are operator with a 52.5% interest along with Petonas Carigali (40%) and Petros (7.5%)
Sproule ERCE estimated PRMS compliant Prospective resources ranges for the two main reservoir layers as well as two shallower amplitude driven targets located within the overburden. Sproule ERCE performed extensive geophysics analysis of the 3D seismic across the area, as well as drawing on the companies extensive regional experience to parameterise ranges of resources and geological chance of success.
